The American Fork City Library has provided FREE access to all community patrons to Bookflix, a website sponsored by Scholastic that features animated stories that bring eBooks to life. It has over 120 animated books filled with adventure, music, and interactive games. This service is free, not even a library card is needed. However a username and password is required. Patrons can use the username afl1 (American Fork Library 1) and the password is the same. Access this free resource to read paired fiction and non-fiction books. HOW TO GET A BOOK THIS SUMMER:
To get a book from the library this summer, you will need to put a book on hold. I will see the hold request, pull the book(s) for you, put your name on it and leave it on a table in the front of the school on Wednesdays during summer library hours. You just "grab and go!"
**Please see the specific pick up times above. This will help us maintain social distancing.
Also, only adults should come to the table for book pick up. No students please. **
Each student can check out up to two books each week.
HOW DO I PUT A BOOK ON HOLD?
The first step is to find the book in the researcher. You can search by title, author, subject, etc. Use the drop down arrow next to "Smart Search" to edit your search
(or just search by title under "smart search").
Here is the link to the library researcher
Next you will need to follow the instructions found here:
How To Put A Book On Hold - Instructions For Students That's it!
The first day of Summer Library will be Wednesday, June 17
Email Mrs. Montgomery if you have questions or problems. dmontgomery@alpinedistrict.org
